Manners in the Korea

Because the Korean society has always emphasized the importance of manners, we can easily find simple manners that are unique compared to other countries.
First, it is bad manners to not give up one's seat to an elder on a bus or a subway.
Second, it is impolite to not bow to someone older than you. It may be acceptable to just shake hands to a person you just met in another country, but in Korea
if you do that, you can easily be considered as someone who has zero manners.
